Microsoft profit climbs on product launch
Microsoft profited by $3.65 billion (34 cents per share), up from $3.46 billion (32 cents) a year ago. Revenue went up 9 percent to $11.84 billion. Good news came from sales of SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and Dynamics CRM 3.0, along with small business servers, handheld devices and the MSN online services.
