Microsoft investigates new XP SP2 flaw

There is YAWF (yet another Windows flaw), this time affecting the Windows Remote Desktop, a feature commonly used by mobile workers and in call center applications. The flaw uses a denial-of-service method and seems to be immune to Windows XP's firewall and service pack 2 protections. The researcher who found the bug says Microsoft told him there will be a solution in August. Meanwhile, researchers announced a bug in the Windows Network Connections Service.
