Matrox Graphics has announced new overlap support for seamless content delivery when using multiple projectors. The overlap support is enabled in the 4.00.02 display driver for the company's Matrox M-Series graphics card under Windows 7, and allows for manipulation of overlapping pixels to align up to eight adjacent projectors. Because the adjustments are supported natively at the GPU level, the unified projection appears seamless, allowing for affordable multi-projector solutions without having to invest in larger, more expensive projectors.
