Mac OS 10.5.2 bringing bug fixes galore

A few weeks back, French Mac rumor site MacBidouille received word that Apple is planning to release OS X 10.5.2 during MacWorld in January and that the update will represent "the largest and most important intermediate system update ever released by Apple." Looks like they might have been on to something: AppleInsider has now stepped forward to confirm that the update is on the way and that it "promises to be one of the most hefty maintenance releases put out by the company for its operating system software in recent years." Included in the list of over 100 items getting the patch treatment are the Finder, the Dock, grammar checking, iCal, iChat, Mail, Parental Controls, Quick Look, Rosetta, Safari, Time Machine, and Leopard's 802.11 AirPort implementation. The final version is still rumored to land sometime in mid-January, so keep those eyes and ears open during MacWorld, folks.
