Juniper debuts VoIP security tools

The real-world threat is unclear, but Juniper Networks is selling a VoIP security product anyway. The software runs on Juniper's existing E- and M-series routers. It sniffs for unusual data rates and other malware signals, quarantines anything suspicious, and asks administrators to take action. Check back in a few months to see if customers really buy this and, if so, if they buy the idea that SIP is unsafe.
