Jerry Yang to step down from Yahoo

Jerry Yang, the embattled co-founder of Yahoo will be stepping down from his position as the chief executive officer once a replacement is appointed, said the troubled Internet company on Monday. Yang drew intense criticism for rejecting an initial offer from Microsoft to buy the company in a deal worth $33 a share, or more than three times its price at the time of this announcement.
