Is the Pearl a Treo killer?

The new 8100 Pearl is Research In Motion's best effort yet at making a BlackBerry device that's as good as a mainstream smartphone. Unlike the Treo and others, however, the new Pearl is lightweight, has a very slick black appearance, good battery life and a respectable display. But its drawbacks include limited user-accessible memory, a so-so camera and too much interface complexity.
