Is Skype secure enough for the enterprise?
You've been hearing a lot lately about Skype's efforts to prove itself enterprise-worthy. And you've already heard about the increased productivity and cost-savings that it can yield, especially in small businesses. So what are you waiting for? Oh, right, you're worried about security, aren't you? Well, don't worry, you're not alone. As it turns out, Skype may be far more secure than you think. In an article for ComputerWorld, Skype expert Michael Gough details the top five security misconceptions about the VoIP app. It's worth a read, especially if you think that Skype is too insecure to be reigned in as an officially supported application.
