International road warriors looking to make a business case for the iPhone, here's your silver bullet: AT&T has just announced a comprehensive international data plan for the iPhone that will have you watching YouTube and browsing Google Maps in over 29 countries around the globe, including the U.K., Hong Kong, Australia, India and Canada (sorry, no Japan or South Korea for now). For $59.99 a month (in addition to your existing iPhone rate plan), you'll be given 50MB of international data access per month, in addition to international voice roaming and international long distance at standard rates when dialing from the U.S. If you manage to exceed that 50MB/month of data, you'll be paying $0.005 per KB, though that should be no big deal for a globe-trotter like yourself, right? $60 too rich for your blood? Try a similar plan with only 20MB of data for $24.99 a month.
