Intel takes aim at computer cable madness

Intel focused so much on new chips at its Developer Forum this week, you'd think it was a Frito-Lay conference. But they also discussed something much more useful to most people: wireless universal serial bus connections. The promise is a cable-free server room. (Imagine that!) Early-stage products could emerge sometime in 2006 with a specification called the Wireless Host Controller Interface.
