Intel shows glimpse of storage strategy
Intel has a plan for improving its whitebox storage hardware. Details are slim, but the plan includes more frequent use of EMC's low-end hardware via its OEM agreement, more developments in storage-specific chips and more partnerships with storage industry start-ups which don't otherwise have access to serious NAS or SAN hardware, officials explained.
