Intel launching enterprise desktop platform

Intel later today will announce a new brand of business-focused chip technologies, similar to its Centrino brand for mobile products and new Viiv brand for consumer entertainment. The new brand, its name not yet revealed, will be announced with Symantec--so it's reasonable to expect a security and virtualization pitch. Will it be fluff or serious innovation to help Intel recapture lost market share from rival AMD? We'll find out soon.
