Intel doubles down on Linux
Intel said it will centralize several different Linux-related groups to better understand the direction of the operating system and to be more consistent in its messaging and availability to the community. Specifically, Intel hopes to target enterprise Linux customers with virtualization and other new features of its new multi-core chips. However, other Intel technologies such digital rights management could scare away Linux users, experts note.
