HP revamps StorageWorks portfolio
Hewlett-Packard has upgrades shipping for its enterprise storage hardware. The mid-range Enterprise Virtual Array (Compaq/DEC) and high-end XP arrays (Hitachi) are getting new iSCSI connections and faster Fibre Channel connections. Larger-capacity tape libraries and new management software are also announced. It's all meant to help companies do more with less people, officials say.
