How to: Embed Outlook's calendar on your desktop
Do you have a job? Do you use a computer? If you answered "yes" to either of those questions, chances are, you live your life according to a Microsoft Outlook calendar. So what's the best way to ensure said calendar is always in front of you? After seeing that Blue Screen of Death tattoo last week, you might be tempted to have your calendar inked on the back of your hand--though you would probably come to regret the decision in a month. No my friends, there's a better way. Check out Outlook on the Desktop: a freeware app that embeds a transparent version of your Outlook calendar on your Windows desktop. Even better, the desktop version of your calendar is linked to your Outlook, so it acts as a fully-functional facsimile. You'll need to have .NET 2.0 installed to run Outlook on the Desktop but don't worry if you don't: the program will install it for you during setup.
