Hackers lurk in AMD tech support site
Advanced Micro Devices officials said they corrected a problem with hackers lurking in their technical support forum who tried to infect users' computers with infected Windows Metafile images. Whether "corrected" means a technical glitch was solved or users were simply banned is unclear. So if you administer any online forums, add that to the list of things in need of constant security vigilance.
