GFI Software has released GFI MailArchiver 2011, which offers some significant, new functionality. Enhancements inclued the ability to automatically create and roll-over to a new archive store when using the free Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) SQL Express, a feature that should appeal to smaller businesses that do not already have a SQL Server license. Other improvements include a faster and richer search, a new user interface based on the latest web technologies and rapid mailbox restore. Finally, GFI MailArchiver 2011 also comes with Active Directory Group support, which should greatly simplify the administration by allowing the selection of groups of users. Press release
