Ga. database hacked through security app
Someone accessed the personal data of 570,000 people in Georgia's technology department database by using an unpatched bug in an unspecified security program. The data concerns eight of the state's pension plans. A year ago the state had a breach affecting 450,000 people. (What are your experiences with insecure security products?
