Four security bulletins for Patch Tuesday next week
Microsoft has slated four security bulletins in its February's Patch Tuesday next week. With two of them addressing critical flaws found in Microsoft Exchange Server and Internet Explorer, this should be more than enough work for IT departments to tackle next week.
In spite of the fact that all four bulletins have identified the flaws to be vulnerable to remote code execution, the remaining two bulletins involving Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Visio were rated as "important." Based on references made in the bulletin, Andrew Storms, who is the director of security operations from nCircle thinks that Microsoft will finally get around to patching an SQL Server issue that was known since April last year.
