Firefox still has some bugs to iron out for Vista users

With the great reputation that Firefox enjoys in tech circles, you would think that Mozilla would have a Vista-compatible version of the open-source browser ready for launch. Vista compatibility has proven a bit more elusive for the Firefox development team, however. Though version 2.0.0.1 was just released, a few bugs, resulting from changes in Windows' code, still remain. For example, you can't make Firefox your default browser in Vista and you can't install the program in any directory other than the default. While these are small yet annoying flaws, hopefully the Firefox team will have it all worked out by the time the home versions of Vista are released in January. After all, you'd think they would have gleaned some sort of inside knowledge from their trip behind enemy lines.
