EMC's storage products are due for security overhauls, CEO Joe Tucci said at an annual user conference yesterday. He didn't cite details but hinted at tactical acquisitions to accomplish this. EMC officials revealed a bit more about their automation plans. EMC will soon re-release Storage Insight, acquired via the Software Management Arts acquisition in 2004. They'll also soon release a product called Application Discovery Manager along with more virtualization updates.
