EMC doubles up on Clariion connections
EMC launched its third generation of the midrange Clariion storage systems. The major new feature is 4Gbps end-to-end connections, which is double the previous speed. Also, customers can now maintain their own systems without voiding the warranty and without having to contact EMC support each time. The PCI Express bus is now used and more software upgrades are coming soon, officials added.
