EMC blends security and content cocktail
EMC is bundling records management software from its Documentum division with security software from its recent Authentica acquisition. The bundling helps companies ensure their regulatory compliance by using policies to prevent files from existing outside of trusted zones, and can eliminate files that do make it outside. The software is available now with typical prices of $250,000 or more, and requires the Documentum content management platform.
