DOJ sharpens objections in BlackBerry case
Two more signs emerged that BlackBerry service won't shut down: the U.S. Justice Department filed in court that it doesn't believe an injunction could plausibly deny private messages but continue government messages; also, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office said it will almost certainly invalidate the last of NTP's patents, which BlackBerry owner Research In Motion was previously found to infringe. [In related news, Western Union recently announced the discontinuation of telegram service, but no one's complaining about that.]
