Dell XPS m1330 ultraportable laptop revealed

The folks over at Engadget managed to get the scoop on Dell's upcoming XPS m1330 ultraportable and if these specs are accurate, this machine could become the premier subnotebook for business computing:

  • 13.3-inch screen, optional LED-backlight
  • Core 2 Duo processor (up to 2.4GHz), Santa Rosa chipset (965PM/GM)
  • Up to 4GB DDR2 SDRAM
  • 32GB SSD drive or traditional HDs up to 250GB
  • Slot-loading, dual-layer DVD±RW drive
  • NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS/128MB optional
  • WWAN for Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T optional
  • Ethernet, 802.11a, a/g, or n, Bluetooth module optional
  • Integrated 2 megapixel webcam
  • HDMI, VGA, 1394, USB 2.0, integrated media reader (MS, SD, xD), dual mini-PCI slots, fingerprint reader
  • Starting weight of 4 lbs.

While that's not quite as impressive as some of the tiny lappies that Sony is showing off over in Japan, the XPS m1330 ultraportable looks like a fully-loaded machine that you can still take on the road.
