Dell display with built-in webcam outed

We've seen some pretty strange features getting baked into displays recently (integrated VoIP calling, anyone?) and we've also seen plenty of laptops get the built-in webcam treatment, so I suppose it's only fair that webcams start making their way into desktop displays. Given its discontinuation of the iSight external webcam, many assumed that Apple would be one of the first to debut webcam-equipped displays but it looks like Dell has beaten them to the punch--while stealing their anodized aluminum look for good measure. Dell's new SP2008WFP is a 20 inch LCD display with a 1680 x 1050 max resolution, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 2ms response time. On the case you'll find a DVI port with HDCP, a VGA connector, 4 USB 2.0 ports and a 2-megapixel video webcam with built-in microphone. No word yet on price, though according to Engadget, this puppy should be hitting the streets on September 12th. Hopefully Dell will see fit to refresh its entire lineup of displays with this new design and functionality; this is quite a fetching look--if we may say so ourselves--and it sure would be nice to see Dell's larger LCDs dressed up in the same fashion.
