Deals make Infor third-largest biz software company

Infor isn't a household name, but now the ERP company is also the world's third-largest enterprise software company. This week Infor finalized its $1.4 billion acquisition of SSA Global and announced two new acquisitions, Extensity and Systems Union Group, for undisclosed amounts. Extensity and Systems Union Group were planning their own merger, so the current Infor deal takes care of that.
