D-Link receives first Draft 2.0 802.11n certification
As we mentioned last month, the Wi-Fi Alliance has started certifying 802.11n gear with the draft 2.0 designation and D-Link is the first vendor out of the gate with a draft 2.0 certified product.
The D-Link Xtreme N Router and Xtreme N Notebook Adapter will be the first officially certified product and will sport a "distinctive and prestigious logo" to announce this fact. D-Link may have the monopoly on future-proof WiFi gear for now but expect other vendors to follow suit in the coming weeks.
