CoreTrace unveils whitelisting clients for Mac and Linux
Leading enterprise application whitelisting solution vendor CoreTrace last week announced Mac and Linux endpoints for the company's flagship Bouncer 6 product. This is a significant development, and transforms the company's whitelisting solution into a viable replacement for security products in businesses that adopt a multi-platform approach. While the press release does not mention it, I would presume that management of individual clients can be done from the same central server regardless of which operating system the endpoint uses. CoreTrace says the Mac and Linux clients will be generally available in March 2011 with prices starting at $35 per desktop; and is also available for servers. Press release
