Conflicts between Vista, Visual Studio

Visual Studio 2005 will only be partially compatible and will require a variety of patches, while older versions such as .Net 2002 and 2003 probably just won't work. Not surprisingly, developers aren't happy about this. There won't be a lot of time, if any, for code editing between the Visual Studio update and Vista's release. Microsoft said it was a tough decision, but didn't elaborate much.
