Coming soon: ODF for Microsoft Office

Yesterday, we told you about the Open Document Format achieving its ISO standardization. Now there's some more tangible news: there will soon be a plug-in for the format that works inside Microsoft Office, the president of the OpenDocument Foundation said. This is great news for people who must use Microsoft Office at work but prefer OpenOffice elsewhere. When and how the plug-in will be released are not yet determined, but we'll keep you posted.
