Cisco, Trend Micro make security service
Cisco's new Incident Control System gives sysadmins the ability to configure network devices with security rules. Security updates about worms and viruses will come from partner Trend Micro and, once set, configurations can be automatically distributed across large networks and can also be rolled back. It ships next month. Also coming from Cisco: new versions of the Intrusion Prevention System; the Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System product; and the Internetwork Operating System (the latter in November).
