C&L: Juniper hires Lynn; Maffei leaves Oracle

Michael Lynn, the security researcher known for terrifying Cisco Systems and then losing his job at a recent industry conference, now works at rival Juniper Networks in an unspecified role.
Borland hired Tod Nielsen as its new CEO. He previously worked at Oracle as senior VP of marketing and global sales support. He also was an executive at BEA Systems and Microsoft.
Larry Warnock is now chief marketing officer at Vignette. He previously ran marketing for EMC's Documentum and also for Siebel.
Time-Warner board member and AOL co-founder Steve Case resigned.
Greg Maffei resigned as Oracle's CFO. Reading between-the-lines, he's just another in the long line of those who couldn't tolerate working for Larry Ellison.
