C&L: AMD snags Naffziger from Intel

SAP hired Zia Yusuf as executive VP of its platform development. He replaces George Paolini who left for unspecific reasons.

Carol Wilson joined Tata Consultancy Services as an executive for the Europe, Middle East, and Asia division. She previously was CIO of SAP.

Advanced Micro Devices hired Samuel Naffziger and eight others from Intel. Naffziger was a key engineer on Intel's Itanium team and previously worked at Hewlett-Packard.

Ajei Gopal re-claimed his old job of CTO at Symantec, replacing Mark Bregman, who came from Veritas. Bregman moves to a sales role.

Rafael Diaz has been tapped to replace James Matthews as Illinois CIO.
