Build your own all-in-one with a VMPC
Whether you hate the iMac, find the Gateway One too expensive or have simply always dreamed of building your own all-in-one PC, the vm7700 VMPC (Vesa-Mountable PC) from Via is clearly for you. Featuring the ability to be bolted onto the back of any VESA-compatible display in place of a mount, the vm7700 turns a run of the mill display into an all-in-one PC in mere minutes. Here's what's under the hood: a Via C7 1Ghz or Eden ULV 1.5Ghz CPU, up to 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g WiFi and a standard SATA HDD pre-loaded with either Windows XP or Linux. Also, it's completely fan-less, so folks won't be left wondering why you've got the loudest display on the block. In all seriousness, this thing probably has a pretty limited range of use for consumers, though I can see enterprises with a few spare displays in the closet and a need for kiosks bolting a few of these on.
