Brocade, McData integration detailed

Brocade executives have some interesting plans for integrating their storage networking switches with those of the recently acquired McData. The long list includes merging the companies' three director-class switches into one product by 2008 using 8Gb per second technology. They haven't decided yet whether to use legacy Brocade or legacy McData technology for the future intelligent switch platform. On the people side, there may be some redundancy layoffs, but the good news for customers is that probably won't affect design and support teams.
