BMC, IBM expand management software
IBM is partnering its Tivoli and Global Services divisions with BMC Software to create a management software super product. The goal is to integrate IBM's change and configuration management database with BMC's help desk tools. There are beta customers but no details of how much true integration is happening. Meanwhile, IBM and BMC have partnered before; how tight will they get?
