BlackBerry, others are security targets
BlackBerry devices just became a bit less secure: Security researchers, who often work in overlapping circles with hackers, recently let loose some exploit code which BlackBerry maker Research In Motion already patched but which many customers haven't installed, experts say. The code is even called BlackBerry Attack Toolkit so it's not exactly subtle. RIM previously defended itself by noting that the attack method affects all wireless devices, not just theirs and experts noted that BlackBerry devices do have better encryption than most gadgets.
