BlackBerry Curve impresses for business, fun
We here at DailyTechRag have mentioned the BlackBerry 8000 series before, usually in the context of the world plans that the phones will come bundled with. But what about the handsets themselves? Well, the first reviews are starting to trickle out and the initial feedback on the 8300--now known as the BlackBerry Curve--is that it's got business in the front and a party in the rear. In addition to all of the BlackBerry features that you already know and love, the Curve sports a 2-megapixel camera, an integrated media player, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot and a Push-to-Talk key. Apparently, email is easy to set up on the device and web browsing is fast via EDGE (though WiFi and 3G support would have been nice). All in all, it looks like the Curve might just be the perfect smartphone for folks who want to take care of business and enjoy multimedia on the same portable device.
