BlackBerry 8320 feels @ Home on T-Mobile
Femtocells and their WiFi brethren are pretty exciting gizmos, especially for those of us who don't have landline phones at home (I also don't own a telegraph, spinning wheel or steam engine, in case you were wondering). If you use T-Mobile's Hotspot @ Home service, you can make free calls over your home Internet connection and can even seamlessly roam from WiFi to cellular. The only problem? The service requires a dual-mode handset and right now, T-Mobile only offers two different models, neither of which is particularly "smart". Where's the love for the suit and tie crowd? Just around the corner, apparently. If leaked T-Mobile docs posted on the PinStack forums offer any indication, T-Mobile's rendition of the BlackBerry Curve 8320 will put its WiFi to good use, allowing BlackBerry fans to make calls over WiFi with the company's Hotspot @ Home service.
