Apple set to unveil U.K. iPhone tomorrow

To our dear friends in Europe: you've been a patient bunch and tomorrow is the day that you'll finally get what you've been waiting for...maybe. As you'll recall, Apple has scheduled a press event to be held in London tomorrow and all signs seem to point to an iPhone announcement. In case you've been living under a rock, here's how things will likely play out in Europe, according to the more credible rumors that we've heard so far:
- U.K. iPhone on O2 network, to be announced 9/18 at Apple event
- French iPhone on Orange, to be announced 9/25 at Paris Apple Expo
- German iPhone on T-Mobile, announcement info unknown
We'll find out tomorrow if the rumor mill was right--not to mention whether or not Steve plans to pull a 3G-capable, 16GB iPhone out of his pocket, as has been rumored. The excitement is scheduled to go down at 10 a.m. London time which is 5 a.m. EST. I certainly don't plan to be up that early but if you do, be sure to hit the liveblog link below.
