We all know that Leopards are supposed to be fast but I don't think that any of us expected this: Apple has announced that it sold two million copies of it's OS 10.5 Leopard operating system during the first weekend of sales, making Leopard "the most successful OS release in Apple's history." The tally includes both single sales of the OS through Apple's online store and retailers, as well as new Macs that came bundled with the latest OS. "Early indications are that Leopard will be a huge hit with customers," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a press release. "Leopard's innovative features are getting great reviews and making more people than ever think about switching to the Mac." Did you pick up a copy of Leopard over the weekend? Are you holding out for the new MacPros? Do you think that Vista/Ubuntu/OS 2 Warp blows Leopard out of the water? Let us know in the comments.
