Apple's Boot Camp 1.2 adds Vista support

It was bound to happen sooner or later: Apple has unleashed a new version of its Boot Camp software and as expected, the upgrade's prime selling point is that it supports Windows Vista. So all you Mac-toting Vista-lovers can now double-boot Vista in its full glory on the Intel Mac of your choosing. Other new features in version 1.2 include:

  • Better trackpad, audio, iSight, graphics, and modem drivers for Windows
  • Apple Remote support in iTunes and Windows Media Player
  • System tray icon for Boot Camp info
  • Foreign language support

While Boot Camp is still officially Beta software, a full version is expected to be integrated into Apple's upcoming OS 10.5 Leopard in June.
