Android Developer Challenge: $10M in prizes
November 14, 2007 — 6:59am ET
Do you love Google? Are you a software developer? Are you super pumped about Android? Boy, do I have news for you. As part of its "Android Developer Challenge," Google will be giving out some $10 million worth of prizes ("no strings attached") to mobile developers who are able to craft the most creative Android apps. Here's what you need to know:
- All entries must be submitted between January 2nd and March 3rd, 2008
- The developers of the top 50 applications will win $25,000 each
- All apps in the top 50 will be entered into a final round where ten $275,000 prizes and ten $100,000 prizes will be awarded
Sounds like a pretty good deal to us. If you haven't already, download that Android SDK and get cracking.
