Amazon's Kindle gets reviewed

Sure, Amazon's Kindle eBook reader is likely to tickle the fancy of only a select few gadget freaks but that didn't stop the initial run of the device from selling out in the blink of an eye. But does it live up to the hype? Head on over to Gizmodo and check out a full review of the EV-DO slinging eBook reader if you want to find out. The Giz crew apparently liked the Kindle enough to stamp it with a coveted "Bestmodo" rating, singling out the ease of use, overall design and display clarity as some of the device's strong points. "Having lived with the Kindle, I can say that it serves most of my immediate reading needs," Gizmodo writes. "As a guy who enjoys amassing a vast library of books and displaying them in bookcases, I am a little frightened of the future, but inevitability is the name of the game, and fear of change isn't a good enough excuse."
