Amazon leaks Adobe CS3 pricing, release dates
If you're a creative professional, the pricing of Adobe's forthcoming CS3 suite of apps probably doesn't matter much--it's not like you have a choice in the matter, anyhow. For those few of you concerned about giving up your first born in exchange for the latest obligatory upgrade, Amazon.com has leaked the pricing, release dates and box art for all 11 combinations in which you can buy the software. According to Amazon, pricing for the most popular bundles will be as follows: Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Web Premium will be $1599, Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Master Collection will come in at $2499, Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Production Premium goes for $1199 and Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Design Premium will set you back $1599. Keep in mind that these are also the first versions of Adobe's CS apps that will run natively on Intel Macs--which will likely motivate every design house under the sun to trade in their aging G5 towers for shiny, new MacPros (which will probably get even shinier and newer before CS3's release). Most of the CS3 bundles will be available on April 20th.
