Adobe Reader X now available
Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE) has released the Adobe Reader X, which incorporates a brand new sandboxing technology designed to overcome the frequent exploits faced by the beleaguered PDF software. Adobe says that this initial release sandboxes all write calls, with the ability to stymie read-only activities planned for future releases. Certainly, I'm sure that businesses still using Adobe Reader, for whatever reason, will appreciate the extra protection and should upgrade to it.
