There's no argument about the value a customer relationship management (CRM) system can provide a business today. After all, business is all about making the customer happy and creating a strong bond. Yet, as some experts point out, CRM deployments quite often don't go all the way and some valuable aspects aren't tapped at all. The focus, says one expert, is typically just on the front end and that means many CRM efforts aren't getting a full ROI--on what is not a cheap or easy IT effort.
