Worst cities for IT work

You're looking for an IT job, and you are willing to move anywhere--well, just about anywhere. This week, CIO.com highlights a few cities not even worth trying. A couple of these cities might surprise you, but there are a few that make the list for some pretty compelling reasons. Among them:

  • Detroit--need we say more about the auto industry capital of the United States?
  • Cleveland--which has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the United States.
  • Syracuse--miserable winters and exactly 49 IT jobs listed as open.
