Windows glitch advises unbuckling of Symantec product
In what has to be viewed as a bit of ironic news, an update to the Windows AntiSpyware program triggers an alert that users should unplug Symantec's antivirus program because it could cause issues with security protection. The two vendors say they have worked together to solve the issue and that it didn't affect a large Windows user base. Workarounds include reinstalling Symantec or restoring function in XP to go back to previous settings.
